1 · We keep the AI honest
AI can sound confident and be wrong. We engineer against that.
Verbatim citation checks. When our analyzer quotes your records, every quote is verified as an exact match to the source text. If it can't be verified, it's flagged — we don't let the model paraphrase your file into something it didn't say.
38 CFR discipline. Rating logic is tied to the actual regulation and diagnostic codes, not vibes. Where we cite a rule, we name it (e.g. 38 CFR 4.16, 3.310).
Screeners say "screener." Our eligibility and SMC checks tell you they're screeners and point you to confirm. We flag possibilities; the VA decides.
Human in the loop. Nexus letters are drafts for your own physician to review and sign. Statements are yours to review and sign. Nothing goes out on autopilot.
2 · Honest by design
We tell you when NOT to pay. If your condition is presumptive (PACT, Agent Orange, Camp Lejeune), you don't need a nexus letter — and we say so, instead of selling you one.
Priced at cost. Our free tools run in your browser and cost nothing. Our paid tools are priced at what the AI actually costs to run — a few dollars, not hundreds. You see the cost before you pay.
Never a cut of your back pay. Not now, not ever. No contingency, no percentage.
We don't file for you. We are not VA-accredited and we do not represent veterans. We prepare; you file — on VA.gov or with a free VSO. That keeps you in control and keeps us on the right side of the law.
3 · Your records, protected
Stored encrypted, never sold. Your records are stored encrypted and are never sold or shared with third parties for marketing.
PHI handled seriously. We're built on privacy-first infrastructure: your records are encrypted with a key we control, so the storage provider can't read them, and they're never sold or used to train AI.
You can delete it. Ask us to purge your records and we will. Your file is yours.
4 · Who's behind it
US Vet Help was built by SSgt Outlaw, a 100% disabled combat veteran (U.S. Air Force, 1997–2005) who fell into every pitfall the system sets before reaching 100%. This is the map he never had. Not a call center, not a claim shark — a veteran who got tired of watching other veterans get left behind.
US Vet Help is a self-help research and preparation tool. We are not VA-accredited, we do not provide legal or medical advice, and we do not file claims or represent veterans. Not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
