Appeal Lane Picker & Deadline Clock

A denial is not the end — it's a fork in the road. Answer three questions and we'll point you to the right lane, then start your deadline clock.

1 · Your deadline

You generally have one year from the date on your decision letter to appeal and keep your effective date.

2 · Pick your lane

We read your denial, find the defect, and prepare the right appeal for your lane.

Educational guide to the Appeals Modernization Act (AMA) options. The one-year deadline protects your effective date; some situations (continuous pursuit, CUE, contested claims) differ.
